What is the TrenchLeague
The TrenchLeague is a Dota 2 league designed for players Archon and below to compete against similar teams in a group stage format similar to how professional Dota 2 players compete, all while combating the toxic environment common in low MMR dota -- that being games filled with smurf and feeders. Now if you have a feeder on your team it's one of the people you invited to play with you, so you kinda need to blame yourself, right?
How do we combat smurfing?
In order to participate in the TrenchLeague you need to have a Dota 2 account with a public, visible match history. This will allow one of the league admins to personally validate your account by looking at your match history, account age, regions played in, and conduct to either clear your account for participation or deny you entry into the league. Every account gets reviewed by a human and the determination is made by hand.
If your account is 2 months old, ranked eligible, and your first 100 games were clearly botted -- like so many low ranked accounts for sale are -- you won't be allowed in. Go find someone else's games to ruin.
What if my account isn't ranked yet?
You better start playing then! This league is specifically for players who have an established Dota 2 account rank from Herald to Archon. This isn't a league for people with "trust me bro my account is actually Herald but I forgot the login, let me use this new account" stories.
